My mother is beautiful, inside and out, she has a heart of gold, and she is always a sweetheart. We have a very close and open relationship, I don't know what I would do without her. I always know that she is there when I need her I know that I can tell her anything and I always know that I am welcome home anytime. That is such a wonderful feeling to have... like when I am snowed out of my house, or need somewhere to do several days worth of laundry :)
I have loved watching my mother blossom over the past few years. I love to see her happy and confident. She deserves this happiness. She has many accomplishments and over comings which she can be very proud of.
I like to think that I will have a close relationship with my children, like she has had with me, and with her own mother. I have learned so much from her, the most important being, love, honesty and compassion.
Today is her birthday...

Wait, I just reread this and I totally need to write a different comment. What I MEANT to say is that it's true. The best part of what Susan said is that Beth has a heart of gold. She is so pure and true and honest. A real star. Gary is lucky (and so is Beth). Hope your day was stellar!
