Today is the first day this spring that all of the snow has been melted off of our deck, the sun is out, and it is (sort of) warm outside. Cam was thrilled to play in the dirt this morning. He spent a few good hours just transferring dirt from pot to pot and from truck to truck. I am thrilled that he can now do this outside... He spent a lot of time over the winter getting busted for digging in my houseplants!!! What can I say, the kid LOVES dirt! I can't wait for our yard to thaw out so he can go back to his Heaven on Earth. In the life of Cam, there's never enough dirt!

funny what "warm" can be after a winter of Freezing temperatures which to me is anything above 50. Like you I'm ready for Spring...
Oh, Cam....it is true...dirt are you are magnets for each other. I have the dirt pile warmed for you on Saturday. Papa and Peck have been working on the big sandbox, too. See you and your brother tomorrow! love you, Wawa
Cam is certainly at home in a dirt pile. No matter how big or small, he thrives on dirt. That's what little boys are all about. I love that you can be happy with that and enjoy the fact that it's what makes him happy. Thank heavens for little boys, ya gotta love 'em. Happy digging, Cam. Grandma loves you.
I'm excited for spring too. We are just barely getting grass again in our front yard. the back has melted though. The dog for sure loves it. Can't wait to have bbq's with you guys and let our kiddies play
When I was in grade school, my neighbor and I would dig holes in the back yard and eat the dirt. We would argue over whether the black dirt or yellow dirt tasted better.
Don't you love this time of year--perfect for boys to get covered in mud. We went to our CO house this weekend to meet with a buyer! Yeah! and the boys decided to "dirt-board" down the dirt hill while we were pre-occupied. We had to strip them down in the driveway before they could get in the car. Love the pictures (good thing I can't keep house plants alive)
Hahaha! That little stinker! I was laughing out loud at the second pic of him and that little scowl on his face! He is all boy, for sure! You live in the perfect place for a dirt lover. What a cutie!
What a boy! How cute, except the dirt on the carpet :) And from what I can see through the slats of your railing in picture 5 makes me really jealous of where you live.
Dude, Kristen, We have to take you there. It's so insane. Gorgeous! Next trip to Utah, okay???
Of course!!!
