Jib-tastic!!

I'm not sure what other parents do after they tuck the kids in bed for the night, but Greg and I throw on our snowboarding gear, turn on the flood lights, and fire up the 4 wheeler for a late night jib sesh in the yard!

I tried and tried to get a picture of Greg actually
riding the picnic table, but my camera was just too slow...

Sorry Greg, I had to post it... it's the only picture I got...
(plus, I think it's hilarious) Nice face-plant!!  Ha ha ha!!!

We just realized we have a snowboarding ghost.
If you look closely you can see it in this picture.

Seriously though, this is why we LOVE where we live and I don't know if I could ever be satisfied anywhere else, we have so much fun here. The pros SO out way the cons.  Last night we kept taking turns driving each other up the road on the 4 wheeler. Then we would snowboard back down the road in the dark night, with the lights of the 4 wheeler showing the way. It's like a choppy groomer run with super fun pow shots all along the side. We lapped it for hours. We were having so much fun we had no idea it was only 5 degrees outside!!! You should have seen the stars, they were so bright, it was really beautiful!! This morning we woke up and wanted more. This time we shared the fun with the kids. We've now got a few good sledding runs built too!

Of course, no Fun-in-the-Snow day would be complete without a cup of hot cocoa at the end!

I'm glad Greg is home. What fun you are all having! I just love your energy and the joy you take in being outdoors. (I'm afraid that 5 degrees would do me in . . . and KEEP me in!!) The stars must be amazing from your house!

Looks like fun. Jeff and I like to head out at night and sit in the hot tub. We look at the stars and love it when it is snowing. That is the best time in the hot tub.

Les, you're on to me... I do post this stuff hoping that you and Mitch will move to Rockport and be my neighbor. The house next door is for sale... and it's only $439,000. Talk to Mitch and let me know when you're moving in.
