Anyways... I hope I don't sound like I'm complaining. I'm definitely not. I am happy. I am enjoying every moment and having lots fun in this busy era of life! FUN has remained number one! I have not stopped taking pictures, I've just stopped sharing them, so now it's time to play a little catch up.
Zach turned 7!! Originally I wanted to have a big party at home with lots of family and friends, but the day before the party I became overwhelmed with anxiety (this seems to be the story of my life) we had not finished our little renovation project and I just couldn't pull it off. I wanted everything to be perfect. So in the end we just had a little party with friends at beautiful Liberty Park... it was just right.
Batman, I mean CAM turned 5! We went to the Tracy Aviary for their Halloween Hoot! This was so cool. The kids got to run around in their costumes and do some trick or treating. It was a beautiful Fall day! There was hardly anyone there other than our group. We can't wait to go back next year. Definitely a must do if you are in Salt Lake around Halloween!
We even squeezed in an over nighter to the West Desert. We LOVE our new tent trailer! It makes camping with kids sooo much easier! The boys caught lizards, lugged dead trees around, played with the walkie talkies and of course made a few new dinosaur videos. Dad played with his potato launcher. I figured out how to use the outdoor cooking area. Then we both spent a little time getting everything organized in the trailer so that the next trip will be even easier!! Bring on Spring!!!
I've been doing lots of co-oping and Field trips with Cam's preschool. It has hit me like a ton of bricks recently that my days with a preschooler are numbered. I've been putting in some extra days with Cam and his class. Just soaking up every moment of this special time. I will absolutely miss it when it's over...
And lets not forget Christmas! Somehow we pulled it off again!!! (does anyone else feel that way about Christmas)
Zach and Cam decorating their own little trees
Mama's tree
Making their gingerbread train.
Christmas Eve at Grandma Beth's...
Christmas morning at home...
Christmas Night at Papa's...
Whew.... that was a long one. Thanks for sitting through it ;) at this point I can barely stand to sit here and wrap this thing up... Oh shiz! I've got to hurry and get ready for work!
Thanks for reading!!

Susan, your blogs absolutely put mine to shame! I love the way you always share so much of yourself, of your thoughts and feelings as you go through the different stages of your life. You are an amazingly insightful young woman. The picture of the boys gently holding the lizards is so tender. It is wonderful to see that you realize the importance of treasuring these days with your boys (and Greg, too, of course.)
After this I'm really looking forward to camping again. Good thing you make time to go boarding every week...keeps winter survivable. I've just been taking Colton--better than nothing, though. Glad you caught up.
Nice job of catching up. You hit some great highlights. You are so good at being a mommy. I'm so proud of you
