Cam's preschool has come to an end for the summer. We really loved his preschool this year. CCNS. So glad we chose them. His teacher Miss Terry, is one of the coolest ladies I have ever met and Cam just adores her. It is a co op school so it's almost like having another part time job. I made a lot of new friends and so did Cam. It's a neat thing to really get to know the other kids in the class as well as their parents. I sort of wanted to cry on the last day. I look forward to another year there. Zach is finishing up his last few weeks of Kindergarten. So Cam and I get to spend our days together once again. Just like in the beginning of the school year. I love having him all to myself and he loves this alone time too. He wants to snuggle all the time... what can I say to that? This boy hated snuggling for the first 3 years of his life. I'll take it now that I can get it!
The boys went through 5 weeks of snowboarding lessons at Brighton. This is Zach's 3rd year riding. He LOVES it! and is killing it! Cam... well, he really likes the part where you go to the lodge and get a hot chocolate. I'm just happy we got him up on the hill, he got on and off the lift, and had a little taste of what Mom and Dad love so much. The day he decides to give it a real try I have a feeling he will love it too! The fact that he is tough as nails will put him one step ahead of most kids.
Now we're on to soccer. Unfortunately, about 60% of the games and practices have been rained out, so it's been a slow go. But once again, it's just good to get them out there, learning something new, and burning off some of that over abundance of energy! I think it's important to give them every opportunity to learn new things and eventually find something they really love and excel at.
As for me, I've left a lot out over the few months while I wasn't blogging. I finally quit Quiksilver! Well, I guess on paper I didn't quit. They started talking about doing layoffs and I volunteered to be one of those. I was over it. I worked there for 11 1/2 years! It's a strange thing to me that I don't miss it one bit! I expected to be bummed out, but I have not looked back once. It was definitely my time to move on. I learned a lot about what to do and especially what not to do when I own my own business. I made many lifelong friends, friends who are more like family. My life would not be the same without my Quik years. I'm now working at Yellowfinn with Greg. We both really love it and are learning even more about running a business. I love a new challenge and it's been far too long since I've had one (as far as work goes) One of these days I will write more on Yellowfinn, but this post has already gotten too long. It's time to add a few pics and get my butt out of this chair.

Great to see a blog from you. I know all about over extending. Must be in our blood. Your boys are adorable. I love to see pictures of them. Jeff and I need to check out Yellow Fin. We are not very adventurous in the food venue however. Just to warn you.
No wonder I never hear from you with all that you are doing. Life has a way of overwhelming us. I'm happy that yours is full of all the good things life has to offer. You are a great blogger, keep it going. Love ya!
Wow, Suzana, you are a busy lady! Much like me... LOVE seeing the pics of your boys doing all the things boys do best. So proud of Zach for being a shredder in the snow. LUCKY that you are finally getting Cam's snuggles. And HOORAY for Yellowfinn! I love that you and Greg are working together and enjoying the challenge. I, too, have noticed that you have been somewhat absent. Love you and miss you.
Ramble on. Sing my song. I love you girl.
