If I had a "Best Of" Collection of my own personal experiences, the Allen's Masonry Golf Tournament would be on that list. I am having a real hard time putting it into words because it is one of those "you had to be there" things.

Greg loves to golf, and he would be the first person to tell you that on any normal day at any golf course, he stands out like a sore thumb. But on this day, with this rowdy bunch, Greg stood out as an upstanding citizen. He was looking sharp! 
Speaking of upstanding citizens, these guys are running the show. Bryan and Thayne, also looking sharp!
The Beer cart lady took a break from her tough job to show "The Vatos" how it's done! She was the only person there who liked us. She was making lots of $$$.

I just thought this was a cute picture so I posted it too.
After the tournament we all went into the clubhouse for dinner and a raffle. Greg is always designated to MC at AMC events. Don't let him fool you, he LOVES it! He has everyone rolling with laughter. Greg is quite the comedian in case you didn't know. We both had a blast! It was great to be a part of such a fun day!As we were all getting ready to leave, the manager of the Golf Course told Annalisa "Maybe next year you should go bowling." .... I guess that means we aren't invited back? Later as we were discussing this comment (quite rude I thought) Bryan's response was "How many golf courses are there in the Salt Lake Valley? I'd say we've got at least 15 - 20 years before we've been kicked out of them all"
I can't wait for the 2nd Annual Allen's Masonry Golf Tournament, wherever it may be...

Suz! How fun! So, was this a tournament just between employees? It looks like there are a ton of people in the dinner/raffle picture. Are there really that many people working for AMC?
You all look like you were tearing up the course. I can only IMAGINE!!! It is trouble on a grand scale when that group gets together! I loved Brian's comment about the amount of golf courses out there! He is brilliant!
That is only about half of thier whole crew. AMC is huge these days. Bryan and Annalisa are the hardest workers I know and they take really good care of the people who work hard or them.

The last time I golfed was at Leslie's wedding when I was 7 months pregnant with Zach. So no, I don't consider myself a golfer. But it's fun!!
Oh my, times have changed since I was a part of AMC. Sure looks like fun.
Hey don't knock bowling. Jeff and I really tear it up in the bowling leagues. We took first place last year. Next time you are here ask to see my bowling quilt that I won.
i have to say this is one of my favorite all time posts! the golf cart off roading...could anything scream amc better?!!
