The sand is warm and soft, the air is calm and comfortable, the water is like a sheet of glass.
We have the whole lake to ourselves.
It's the perfect setting for a handstand contest on the beach...
Roscoe and Kita can't wait to jump right in. There is no other sound besides the splashing of the dogs, the laughing of my boys... and the howling of the two huskies that live within sight of us. I feel so bad, I would love to invite them to join us. The sounds of our good time are echoing across the waters surface and bouncing off the mountains surrounding us.
I know I have already posted this one, but I just have to express the way it makes me feel. I have travelled to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. I always feel the same way when my toes slip into the warm, soft sand. It makes my heart flutter with sheer joy and appreciation for the people and opportunities I have been blessed with in my life. "Our beach" is no less wonderful than any other place in the world. I love it just the same. Every minute I get to spend there is one more grateful moment in my life...

Looks like a super fun day! I just took a break from putting together all my end of the year books for school. 20 to go...then I can play on the laptop. Kiss the boys for me. This new schedule is going to kick Greg's butt. I'm not sure he has EVER seen the sun come UP!
you got your space key fixed!!!
what is greg's new skej? fill us in!
you guys are so stoked to live on the beach. jealous.
Looks like a nice day on the beach. I bet the dogs nearly froze their tales off.
You'de think they would freeze right, since the ice just melted off a couple of weeks ago. But I couldn't keep them out if I tried. They LOVE it!
Wow, you don't have any lots for sale up there do you? What a great place to live! and How eloquently said! Plus I have cute feet envy!
I'm totally jealous...I can't believe your boys can do handstands. They must have some serious boy strength!
hahaha Mel, that picture is totally deceiving. I have the ugliest feet on earth. They are known as "Feigle-Feet" in our family... Greg calls them my "knar-dogs" but thanks for the vote of confidence :) and yes, there are many lots for sale up here, but I have to tell you, this is not your normal life-style, we hurdle many obstacles.
Kristen, aren't you coming to town soon? You should try to come up!
You have a way with words! I love the pics. And those handsome boys look like they need some grandma hugs. Will you do the honors for me till I see them again. LUV YA.
