I am just getting started reading Twilight. I got all 3 books for Christmas and I have been told by many that they are really good... But I have a serious problem... every time I sit down to read I totally crash out! No matter how good the book is! I try so hard to keep my eyes open, but without fail within 15 minutes I am out cold... It's driving me NUTS because so far, I really like this book! If I ever finish I will let you know what I think, but don't count on it any time soon. By the way, does anyone else have this problem or is it just me?

I use books as a sleeping pill. I'm exactly the same as you. I get about 10-15 minutes in each night before I crash. Must run in the family. A book's alot better for us than Ambien.
i only fall asleep reading text books. they are like serious anesthetics for me. not good when you are studying for finals.
my nightly ritual is a good book at bedtime. it is my favorite time of the day. i can usually read for atleast 20-30 minutes, and often for an hour or so. i can't fall asleep without it!
maybe you should join a book club and then you have to read on a schedule!!!
Mom, if you fall asleep so fast then how do you get so much reading in? You can polish off a book in no time at all.
Les, I would fail miserably at a book club, they would hate me and kick me out. It's sad, but true!

I have been doing much better since I posted this. I have a few tricks now to staying awake longer. I am getting deeper into the book and I want to read it every chance I get. In fact, that's what I am going to do right now... I guess that means good night!
that's what i was wondering too. i remember beth cruising thru books at mad speed.
i only read the first. there is SUCH a cliffhanger ending so be prepared to pick up #2 immediately. i didn't have it and i just have't gotten around to getting it.

I LOVE These books! they are the best! Couldn't put them down! almost got in the way of my mothering...oops! I'm almost bored waiting for a 4th. They are actually making a movie.
