All summer long I wanted to do a post on my wildflowers. Actually, I think I did post once in early summer just as the first round was blooming. Well, after that post the flowers came in thicker and thicker, bloomed brighter and brighter and they grew taller and taller. Their beauty was breathtaking and I became a little bit obsessed. I was outside every morning and every evening taking pictures of flowers and grass and rocks. If I had any neighbors they definitely would have thought I was nuts... how many pictures of flowers does one need? The answer is clear to me now... a lot! But over the coarse of the summer I think I may have overwhelmed myself with photos of flowers and somehow convinced myself that the last thing anyone cared to see was more pictures of flowers, so I never got around to posting them. Now I am realizing that this is the perfect time for lots and lots of flower pictures. I have been feeling a little gloomy lately, I think many people have. I'm glad now that it took me so long to get around to it. As I stared going through my folders and folders of flower pictures to post, my heart started fluttering and even skipped a few beats. These flowers brought me so much joy over the summer and now they will lighten my spirit once again.
~ ENJOY~

Beautiful pictures. You are really good with your camera. I remember how much you have always loved flowers. Daisies was a favorite of yours at one time, thus I have lots of daisies in my yard. Thanks for brightening my day with your flowers.
Hugs and kisses.
Daisies are still my favorite. Always will be.
Spectacular!!! Wow, I can't tell you how great that was to see so much beauty and life on here. Perfect timing! I seriously cannot believe those were all WILD flowers surrounding your home. You are probably wise to leave now, I can see your point perfectly...
:) Thanks Chica. That was superb!
LOVE IT!!!!
I like the one on top with the boys and the dandelions the best. Great picture!
I love your flower pictures. They lighten my spirit, too. One day when Chuck was in the hospital, I stopped at a nursery on the way home and bought some cyclamen and primroses. When I got home, I went straight to the garden and planted them. I could hear the phone ringing, but decided that I just needed some time with nature, with my hands in the dirt, listening to the river. I went in feeling so renewed and refreshed, and now, when I look out the window, I see the flowers.
Beautiful flowers! No wonder you have to move before spring, it would be so hard to leave.
